A luxury resale boutique in SoHo, known for its high-end clientele including celebrities, was targeted in a significant robbery early Monday. Four individuals broke into the appointment-only store, 4G, around 4:45 am. They gained entry through a window and rapidly filled bags with valuable merchandise before escaping in a getaway vehicle.
The thieves demonstrated a high level of organization, with a spotter and getaway driver reportedly involved. They appeared to know exactly which specific, rare items to target, focusing on one-of-a-kind pieces. The entire operation was completed in an astonishingly short time frame, reportedly under five minutes.
Surveillance footage captured the suspects breaking a window and quickly seizing premium clothing and accessories, many of which individually exceed $1,000. The store's owner described it as a curated boutique for top-tier clients. The New York Police Department responded shortly after the perpetrators had fled the scene.
