As of Tuesday night, the children, aged 1.5 to 18, were receiving medical attention across the state. Several were reported in serious condition, with two transported to trauma centers via helicopter. The Ohio Attorney General's office, alongside local law enforcement, is conducting an ongoing investigation into the matter.
Governor Mike DeWine has been briefed on the situation and offered state support. The Director of the Ohio Department of Children and Youth is assisting local services. Officials indicated that further charges could be filed as the investigation progresses.
