In a significant operation, Staffordshire Police have seized approximately 25 kilograms of monkey dust, a Class B hallucinogenic drug. The estimated street value of the confiscated substance is around £1.5 million.
The drug was discovered within a van that had been parked on a street in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent, near the junction of Weston Coyney Road and the A520 Weston Road. The vehicle was seized on Thursday by officers.
Superintendent Phil Bryan affirmed the force's commitment to taking robust action against individuals involved in the supply of monkey dust within Staffordshire. He also emphasized the importance of providing support to the vulnerable users of this substance.
