12-Year-Old Dies After Gun Discharges in Disturbance

A fatal incident occurred on Commodore Street in Clayton, prompting an investigation by local law enforcement. Police, sheriff's deputies, and highway patrol responded to reports of a disturbance involving weapons, with an estimated 20 to 30 individuals present inside an apartment.

Witnesses reported that a firearm discharged accidentally while a group attempted to conceal weapons. The accidental discharge tragically resulted in the death of a 12-year-old.
