Among the stolen items were five Chanel bags and a substantial collection of jewellery. Ms. Bastos described feeling overwhelmed by vulnerability and insecurity following the theft.
Ms. Bastos has actively sought assistance from her 188,000 Instagram followers, posting images of the missing valuables and urging them to monitor second-hand resale sites. She believes the burglary was a carefully planned operation, possibly involving prior surveillance. The Metropolitan Police are investigating the incident, focusing on recovering the high-value items and apprehending the suspect. As of the report, no arrests have been made.
