In Vadgaon Maval, the court of additional sessions judge D K Anbhule has delivered a verdict, sentencing 10 individuals to rigorous life imprisonment. This conviction stems from the brutal murder of an elderly farmer, Nathu Phale, his wife Chababai, and their son Atrinandan. The crime occurred in the early hours of April 25, 2017, at their farmhouse in Dhamane village near Talegaon.
The dacoity not only claimed three lives but also saw the severe assault of the farmer's daughter-in-law, Tejashri, and one of his granddaughters. The perpetrators fled with gold jewelry and cash from the residence. The horrifying incident came to light when Tejashri managed to reach a neighbor's house to report the massacre.
Following a thorough investigation by Inspector Mugut Bhanudas Patil and prosecution by Additional Public Prosecutor Smita Chaugule, the court found the accused guilty of armed dacoity, murder, and related charges.
