This project, estimated to cost Rs 2,526 crore, is expected to be completed within three years and will facilitate the transportation of essential commodities such as salt, cement, coal, clinker, and bentonite.
Additionally, the Cabinet has approved multi-tracking projects on the Secunderabad-Wadi, Bhagalpur-Jamalpur, and Furkating-New Tinsukia routes. These expansions aim to improve transportation and connectivity across several states, enhancing the overall efficiency of the railway network.
