On September 24, 2025, comedian Pete Davidson made a surprise appearance on the season 17 premiere of Shark Tank, joining DoubleSoul founder Ben Rosenbaum to pitch their sock startup. The two sought $500,000 in exchange for a 4% stake in the company.
Davidson, who serves as DoubleSoul's creative director, introduced the brand to the sharks, including Robert Herjavec, Lori Greiner, and Kevin O'Leary, as well as guest sharks Kendra Scott and Rashaun Williams. He emphasized that DoubleSoul socks are a step above the typical "lifeless" socks found in big-box stores.
Rosenbaum further explained that DoubleSoul has combined the best features of athletic and everyday socks to create the "perfect everyday sock." Davidson shared that he had been impressed with the product when he first received it a couple of years ago, leading him to get involved with the company.
The sharks appeared surprised by the unexpected appearance of the Saturday Night Live alum, with one exclaiming, "No way!" as the duo made their pitch. Viewers will have to wait until the season 17 premiere to see if Davidson and Rosenbaum are able to secure a deal with the sharks.
