Summary
- Godrej Interio plans Rs 300 crore investment for expansion
- Aims to increase market share to over 20% from 15%
- Targets 1,500 outlets, focus on digital and omnichannel

As of September 9, 2025, Godrej Interio, the furniture division of the Godrej Enterprise Group, is planning a major expansion drive. The company has announced a Rs 300 crore investment to boost its business and technology capabilities.
Godrej Interio, currently the largest player in the organized furniture market, is aiming to more than double its revenues to Rs 10,000 crore by the fiscal year 2029. This represents a significant jump from its current revenue of around Rs 4,000 crore in the ongoing fiscal year.
To achieve this ambitious target, the company plans to increase its market share in the organized furniture segment from the current 15% to over 20%. A key part of this strategy is to expand its store network from the present 1,000 outlets to 1,500 outlets over the next few years. The focus will be on strengthening the company's digital and omnichannel presence to cater to evolving consumer preferences.
In addition to the store expansion, Godrej Interio will also invest Rs 100 crore each in upgrading its digital technologies, improving design elements, and enhancing its manufacturing capabilities across five facilities nationwide. This investment comes on top of the Rs 350 crore the company has already spent on manufacturing upgrades in recent years.
The company expects the share of its B2C (business-to-consumer) revenue to increase by 10 percentage points, from the current 35% to 45% of the total, as it focuses on making premium furniture designs more accessible to a wider customer base.
