Chattanooga has recently introduced a new Weekend Parking Pass to make it more convenient and affordable for visitors to park in the city's downtown area. According to a press release from the Chattanooga Area Regional Transportation Authority (CARTA), the pass is designed to address the concerns of local business owners who have identified parking costs as a barrier for families and out-of-town guests planning full-day experiences.
The Weekend Parking Pass is available at an introductory rate of $25 and covers parking from Friday at 6 PM to Monday at 6 AM in city-owned streets, lots, and garages, including the Shuttle Park Northshore and Shuttle Park North parking facilities. Passes can be purchased online at chattanoogaparking.org and managed through the ParkMobile app.
The new parking program aims to provide a more affordable and hassle-free option for visitors who wish to explore Chattanooga's downtown attractions and businesses over an extended weekend stay.
