YouTube TV Expands NBCUniversal Partnership, Adds Sports Network and Peacock
2 Oct
Summary
- YouTube TV to carry full NBCUniversal network portfolio
- NBC Sports Network launching on YouTube TV this fall
- Peacock available as a subscription through YouTube Primetime Channels

On October 2, 2025, Google announced a new long-term deal with NBCUniversal that significantly expands the content available on YouTube TV. The multi-year agreement will see the full portfolio of NBCUniversal networks, including NBC, Telemundo, Bravo, CNBC, and more, added to YouTube TV's lineup.
A key part of the deal is the launch of NBC Sports Network on YouTube TV later this fall. This will provide YouTube TV's roughly 10 million subscribers with a wide range of sports programming to complement the existing offerings on the NBC broadcast network. Additionally, Peacock, NBCUniversal's streaming service, will now be available as a subscription through YouTube Primetime Channels.
The agreement also includes long-term deals for YouTube to stream short-form clips, highlights, and shows from NBCUniversal's premium programming. Universal Pictures Home Entertainment content will continue to be available for purchase or rental on Google TV, YouTube TV, and YouTube.
"This agreement positions us for continued growth and reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional entertainment to fans across platforms," said NBCUniversal's platform distribution and partnerships president, Matt Schnaars, in a statement.
