XPENG Charges Ahead with Surging EV Sales and AI Innovations
11 Nov
Summary
- XPENG delivers record 42,013 vehicles in October 2025
- Unveils robotaxi, humanoid robot, and flying car concepts
- Positions itself as an AI-driven mobility company, not just an EV maker

In November 2025, XPENG, the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, has solidified its position as a rising star in the global EV market. The company, which was founded in 2014, has been making waves with its impressive performance and bold moves into new technologies.
Last month, XPENG reported record deliveries of 42,013 vehicles, a 76% increase year-over-year. This surge in sales has been driven by the company's refreshed product lineup, particularly its low-cost "Mona M03" model, as well as the booming Chinese EV market. Despite being slightly unprofitable due to its young history, XPENG's revenues have trended strongly upward since going public, with triple-digit year-over-year growth in the two most recent quarters.
But XPENG is not content to be just another EV manufacturer. Earlier this month, the company held an AI event where it showcased its ambitions to be a leader in the field of advanced mobility technologies. XPENG unveiled plans to launch three robotaxi models equipped with its in-house autonomous driving technology next year, taking advantage of China's lax regulations and strong government support for the robotaxi market. The company also showcased a humanoid robot and an eVTOL (electric vertical take-off and landing) concept, signaling its intent to be a "physical AI company" rather than just an EV maker.
With its impressive EV sales, refreshed product lineup, and bold moves into AI-driven mobility, XPENG is well-positioned to capitalize on the rapidly evolving transportation landscape and emerge as a long-term winner in the global EV market.
