Hyderabad is preparing to host the first-ever World Events Economy Week (WEEW) 2026 from June 12 to 15. This global event will converge key sectors, including business events, tourism, hospitality, weddings, and the creative economy, into a unified ecosystem.
Organized by the Telangana Chamber of Events Industry and HITEX Exhibition Centre, with Telangana Tourism as the Host State Partner, WEEW 2026 aims to elevate India's standing in the international events arena. The event is designed to foster collaboration and innovation within the industry.
The four-day summit anticipates over 1,000 curated participants, more than 70 exhibitors, and 70-plus speakers. These experts will represent diverse fields such as tourism, hospitality, media, and technology, fostering knowledge exchange.
WEEW 2026 will feature three core platforms: the South India Wedding Planners Congress, the India for MICE Summit, and the Creative Economy Conclave. These will be complemented by an exhibition marketplace for networking and business matchmaking.
Hyderabad was selected as the host city due to its world-class infrastructure, excellent connectivity, and thriving hospitality sector. Organizers believe WEEW 2026 has the potential to become a globally recognized intellectual property originating from Telangana.
