Woodside Energy, a major Australian energy company, has inaugurated its Woodside Global Solutions hub in Bengaluru, India. This facility is set to bolster Woodside's global connectivity and operational capabilities.

The hub houses experts in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, data science, product engineering, and essential support functions like finance. These teams will collaborate closely with Woodside colleagues worldwide, reinforcing the company's international presence.

Bengaluru was selected as the ideal location due to its advanced technology ecosystem, abundance of skilled professionals, and status as a prominent innovation center. This strategic choice supports Woodside's aim to navigate increasing operational complexities and rapid technological shifts in the energy sector.

Kristine Leo, Woodside's Vice President and India Country Manager, highlighted the hub's importance for shaping the company's future growth through international collaboration and talent acquisition.
