Amazon Merges Wondery Podcasts into Audible

Amazon has announced the discontinuation of the Wondery dedicated podcast app and its Wondery+ subscription service. Customers received notices that both the app and the subscription will cease to be available in the upcoming months, with many Wondery+ shows migrating to Audible.
This strategic shift comes after Amazon reorganized the Wondery division last year, integrating narrative-driven programming into the Audible brand. While the Wondery app and Wondery+ service are ending, the Wondery brand will persist, continuing to produce podcasts featuring notable personalities.
As of March 10, 2026, Audible is extending a special offer to former Wondery+ subscribers. They can enroll in Audible's Standard plan for $5.99 per month for their first year, a reduced rate from the usual $8.99. This membership includes one monthly audiobook credit and access to a curated collection of Audible Originals and nearly 200 former Wondery+ titles now classified as Audible originals.
