Webtoon's chief strategy officer and head of global, Yongsoo Kim, stated that the partnership with Warner Bros. Animation presents an "incredible opportunity to take those stories further alongside one of the most respected names in animation."
The initial development slate under the Webtoon-Warner Bros. Animation deal includes several popular webcomic titles, with more to be announced in the future. This move is seen as a significant step in Webtoon's efforts to expand its global reach and transform its vibrant storytelling into animated entertainment phenomena.
