4 Sep
Summary
- VSE Corp's revenue soared 65% to $449.1 million, exceeding expectations.
- The company completed two major acquisitions, adding significant scale and capabilities.
- Despite robust growth, VSE Corp's total debt surged to $966.7 million.

VSE Corporation announced impressive second-quarter financial results, showcasing a 65% revenue increase to $449.1 million compared to the prior year. This growth was fueled by a combination of organic expansion and the recent completion of two significant acquisitions: Precision Aviation Group for approximately $2.025 billion and NorthStar. Organic growth alone contributed about 14% to the company's performance, with strong gains in the higher-margin repair sector.
The strategic acquisitions have substantially increased VSE Corporation's debt, which rose to $966.7 million by the end of the quarter. This has elevated the net leverage ratio to 3.6 times trailing Adjusted EBITDA. Management, however, highlights a pro forma leverage ratio of 2.4 times, contingent on expected synergy realization from the newly integrated businesses. Despite the increased debt load, the company raised its full-year revenue growth forecast to 61%-64% and its Adjusted EBITDA margin outlook.
