Visa has announced impressive fiscal third-quarter 2026 financial results, exceeding its own expectations. The company reported net revenue of $11.6 billion, marking a significant 14% increase compared to the previous year. Earnings per share also saw a healthy rise of 11%, reaching $3.32.
A major milestone achieved by Visa was its payments volume, which surpassed $4 trillion for the first time in its history. This achievement was driven by a 10% increase in constant-dollar payments volume and 10% growth in processed transactions, totaling 72 billion. CEO Ryan McInerney attributed these successes to robust consumer spending, strategic client acquisitions, product innovation, and the expansion of value-added services.
Further details revealed by CFO Chris Suh indicated a notable acceleration in U.S. payments volume, up 10% year-over-year. This growth was evenly distributed across credit and debit transactions, as well as various spending categories. Notably, Suh stated that the company observes no indicators of weakening consumer spending among lower-income demographics.
