Veranda Learning Solutions, based in Chennai, has reported a consolidated profit after tax of ₹12.5 crore for the second quarter of FY26. This marks a significant improvement from the net loss of ₹201 crore recorded in the same quarter last year. The company's revenue from operations also experienced a robust increase of 51%, reaching ₹117 crore compared to ₹77 crore in the previous year.
The education firm attributed its improved profitability to a reduction in finance costs and depreciation. While the academic and Government Test Prep verticals saw slight year-on-year declines, the Commerce Test Prep vertical demonstrated substantial growth, with revenue rising to ₹80 crore from ₹38 crore.
Enrollments have also surged, increasing from 71,897 to 1,11,363. Veranda Learning highlighted its strong momentum in the first nine months of the year, driven by expanded course offerings and new program rollouts. The company anticipates further focus and scaling of its core verticals following strategic demergers and divestments.
