The Uttar Pradesh Industrial and Trade Summit (UPITS) 2025 has been a resounding success, with a record attendance of over 1.36 lakh visitors on Sunday, September 24th. The day was dedicated to employment generation, skill development, and the promotion of Swadeshi textiles.
A key highlight of the event was a panel discussion on "Industry-Academia Partnership for Skill Development," organized by Gautam Buddha University. Education experts and industry leaders emphasized the need to align the curriculum with changing market demands and encourage internships and vocational training to better prepare students for the workforce.
Another significant development was the launch of the Pradhan Mantri Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana (PM VBRY) by the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO). This scheme will provide recruitment subsidies to employers and incentives for first-time employees, with a focus on the manufacturing sector.

The evening's grand award ceremony saw Cabinet Ministers Nand Gopal Gupta 'Nandi' and Rakesh Sachan honoring entrepreneurs, exporters, and innovators who have contributed to Uttar Pradesh's industrial growth and global recognition.
The fourth day of UPITS 2025 also featured the CM Youth Conclave, with a total of 113 stalls set up, including 49 choice brands, 64 machinery suppliers, and 26 'Business on Wheels' initiatives. The event has already recorded over 8,300 business inquiries and 7,500 registrations.
After the business activities, the India Expo Center transformed into a cultural stage, where audiences enjoyed the Mayur dance of Braj and Bundelkhand folk dance, as well as Sufi and light classical renditions by singer Pratibha Singh Baghel, showcasing the depth of Awadh and Purvanchal's traditions.

As UPITS 2025 prepares for its final day and the much-awaited closing ceremony, several important announcements are expected to be made.
