Leading the gains on the Dow Jones were Sherwin-Williams Co., which rose 8.24%, followed by International Business Machines and Coca-Cola Co. Conversely, Caterpillar Inc. and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. were among the top decliners. On the S&P 500, IQVIA Holdings Inc. and Incyte Corporation also showed significant gains, with Incyte reaching a 5-year high. Corning Incorporated and Carrier Global Corp. were among the largest fallers.
The technology-heavy NASDAQ Composite saw dramatic movements, with Steakholder Foods Ltd. surging 166.66%, while AiRWA Inc. and Sunpower Inc. experienced significant drops, with AiRWA Inc. hitting all-time lows and Sunpower Inc. falling to 52-week lows.
Commodities trading saw Crude oil prices decline for September and October delivery. EUR/USD remained stable, while USD/JPY saw a slight increase. The US Dollar Index Futures also experienced a minor decrease.
