The new service to Timișoara operates with five weekly frequencies. An inauguration ceremony highlighted the route's importance for enhancing regional connectivity and offering passengers greater access to Turkish Airlines' global network of 358 destinations via Istanbul.
CEO Bilal Ekşi emphasized Romania's strategic importance, noting that the Timișoara addition provides more travel options and strengthens access to their unparalleled network. He anticipates the route will foster both commercial and tourism growth.
Timișoara, situated in western Romania, is a significant tourism hub noted for its historical heritage and multicultural character.
