As of October 23rd, 2025, Tubi, Fox Corp.'s ad-supported streaming platform, has struck a groundbreaking content distribution and ad sales pact with Bell Media, a leading Canadian media company. The partnership includes plans to co-develop original content for global distribution, with the content airing on Bell Media's platforms in Canada and through Sphere Abacus, Bell Media's international distribution arm.
Additionally, Bell Media will serve as the exclusive Canadian ad sales partner for Tubi, while Tubi's own ad-supported FAST (free ad-supported streaming TV) channels will launch on the Fox streaming platform in Canada. This strategic alliance aims to increase advertising opportunities for brands to reach Canadian consumers through premium digital video content.
The expanded content distribution deals allow Fox, Tubi, and Bell Media to share the costs and risks on TV series produced in Canada, leveraging local tax credits and currency savings. These co-produced shows will then be distributed across linear TV and streaming platforms on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border.
