Tamil Nadu Seals Mega ₹34K Cr Industrial Deals

The Tamil Nadu Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister MK Stalin, has approved 15 industrial investment projects valued at ₹34,000 crore. These initiatives are poised to create substantial employment opportunities for an estimated 55,000 individuals across the state.
Among the approved projects are significant expansions by Hyundai, advanced electronics manufacturing by Kaynes Circuits India, and automotive electronics by Johnson Electric. The approval also includes the production of Adidas footwear and sports shoes by Evervan Kothari Footwear Private Limited.
Further bolstering the state's industrial landscape, the cabinet greenlit a ship structure construction and shipbuilding project by Radha Engineering Works Group and electronic component manufacturing by Yeemak Group. Investments in aerospace, defense, and automotive components by Jeanuvs Group and Yazaki India Pvt Ltd were also approved.
Industries Minister TRB Rajaa highlighted the swift execution of projects like VinFast and JLR, noting that land allotment for VinFast was completed within two months, and the JLR project's groundbreaking to vehicle roll-out is expected in under 15 months, demonstrating efficient governmental facilitation.
