Time Technoplast has achieved a significant milestone by securing its inaugural trial order for a Type IV composite hydrogen storage system. The contract is valued at approximately Rs 2.30 crore.
This project was awarded by an EPC contractor for a major Public Sector Undertaking in the energy sector. The primary beneficiary of this advanced technology will be the Indian Armed Forces.
The scope of work encompasses the design, engineering, domestic manufacture, supply, integration, and commissioning of a Hydrogen Cascade Storage System. This system will boast a usable capacity of 200 kg, operating at 250 bar, and will utilize state-of-the-art Type IV Composite Hydrogen Gas Cylinders.
The advanced system will be configured in a cascade, incorporating integrated safety devices and comprehensive protection mechanisms. These features are designed to ensure utmost safety, reliability, and efficiency in operation for defense and strategic applications.
Execution of the project will be meticulously coordinated with the end user and all relevant stakeholders. Strict adherence to all applicable safety, quality, and performance requirements for defense and strategic installations will be maintained throughout the process.
