This pivotal project encompasses comprehensive services from engineering and procurement to manufacturing and crucial commissioning support.
The collaboration signifies Thermax's ongoing commitment to supporting Africa's energy sector, particularly in enhancing energy independence and security. Ashish Bhandari, MD & CEO of Thermax, highlighted the order as a testament to Dangote's confidence in Thermax's technical expertise and project execution capabilities.
This new contract builds upon a strong existing relationship between Thermax and Dangote Industries, which was first established in 2017. Previously, Thermax received a $157 million order for boilers and steam generators for the same refinery project. Both parties express enthusiasm for continuing their fruitful partnership.
