On November 11, 2025, technology solutions provider UST was honored with two awards at the prestigious India CSR Awards 2025. The company was recognized in the categories of 'Most Impactful Save Water Initiative of the Year' and 'Education, Health and Livelihood Initiatives for People with Disabilities (PWDs)'.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that UST has been lauded at the India CSR Awards, underscoring the company's unwavering dedication to community-driven, sustainable social impact. Since its inception in 1999, UST has implemented 127 projects across 9 states, positively impacting the lives of over 100,000 people.
In the realm of water conservation, UST has collaborated with local NGOs and communities on large-scale efforts. In 2024-25, the company rejuvenated the Hettanahalli Lake in Karnataka and the Karanaithangal Lake in Tamil Nadu, restoring 60 acres and conserving an estimated 170 billion gallons of water. Other notable initiatives include Project Paryavarna, which restored 8 water troughs for wildlife in Coimbatore, and multiple watershed programs that blend scientific methods with volunteer action to strengthen water security and livelihoods.
UST's recognition for its work on education, health, and livelihood initiatives for persons with disabilities includes the SkillSync vocational program for children on the autism spectrum, the UST-V Able Scholarship Program supporting 167 students with disabilities across 6 states, and infrastructure upgrades benefiting nearly 170 students at special schools. The company has also provided assistive devices such as wheelchairs, transfer hoists, and visual-aid tools to enhance mobility and accessibility for PWDs.
