Gaurav Jain has been appointed as the new Managing Director and CEO of Tata Realty & Infrastructure (TRIL), according to sources. Jain, who previously served as Deputy CEO at Birla Estates, is expected to join TRIL in early September, succeeding Sanjay Dutt.
This leadership change occurs as TRIL navigates financial challenges. The company's revenue saw a 19% decrease, falling to ₹1,620 crore in FY26 from ₹2,008 crore in FY25. Concurrently, its losses widened significantly to ₹456 crore.
TRIL possesses a substantial real estate portfolio of 40 million sq ft, with office properties comprising approximately half. The company is strategically pivoting to enhance its residential business, developing new projects in areas like Mulund and Ghansoli within the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
