This grand opening follows an exceptionally successful soft opening period, during which the establishment has been serving over 1,000 guests each day. The return to Fort Myers signifies a significant comeback for the beloved chain, which closed all 97 of its locations in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The Fort Myers restaurant, located at 14080 S. Tamiami Trail, occupies its former space and is the second Sweet Tomatoes to reopen in the country, with the first relaunch occurring in Tucson, Arizona, in April 2024. Customers can expect the familiar all-you-can-eat buffet experience featuring a wide array of salads, soups, pastas, and baked goods.
Hours for the reopened restaurant will be from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sundays. Lunch buffet is priced at $12.99, and dinner is $13.99. The restaurant will operate on a cashless system and enforce a 90-minute dining limit to ensure all guests can enjoy their meal.
