Summary
- Suzlon secures 306MW wind turbine orders in Rajasthan.
- Yanara's projects will supply firm and dispatchable renewable energy.
- These projects support India's 2030 clean energy target.

Suzlon Group has secured new wind turbine orders totaling 306MW from Yanara for two projects in Rajasthan, India. These initiatives are poised to significantly advance India's energy transition and innovation. Yanara's projects in Barmer, Rajasthan, will provide firm and dispatchable renewable energy, utilizing Suzlon's S144 wind turbine generators.
These new developments contribute to India's ambitious goal of achieving 500GW of non-fossil fuel energy capacity by 2030. Suzlon, with over 2.3GW of installed capacity in Rajasthan, holds a substantial 44% market share, reinforcing its leadership in the state's wind energy sector.
The projects will partly fulfill Yanara's power purchase agreements with major utilities, including NTPC. Yanara's broader portfolio across Asia-Pacific integrates solar, wind, and energy storage to deliver round-the-clock clean power, supporting India's universal energy access objectives.
