Stellantis Shipments Sag on Factory Stoppages
13 Oct
Summary
- North American shipments fell 12% in Q3.
- Europe's strong growth was unable to compensate.
- Overall deliveries experienced a 1% decline.

Stellantis NV reported a 1% decrease in total delivery volume for the third quarter. This downturn was largely influenced by a 12% drop in shipments across North America. The reduction in North American deliveries stemmed from planned seasonal factory shutdowns, which impacted the production of popular Jeep models such as the Grand Cherokee and Compass.
While Europe demonstrated robust growth during the same quarter, its positive performance could not fully compensate for the decline experienced in the North American market. Consequently, the combined effect resulted in a net decrease in Stellantis's overall delivery volume for the third quarter.
