He assured that SpaceX would provide a reasonable off-ramp for Anthropic but noted the possibility of needing the capacity back if compute resources become constrained.
These details emerged shortly after SpaceX's IPO filing, which mentioned that both companies could terminate their agreements with a 90-day notice. The filing did not specify the six-month lease duration. SpaceX's AI segment reported an operational loss of approximately $2.5 billion in the March quarter.
