Sona BLW Surges Past Earnings with Record Revenue

Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd. announced significant financial gains for the first quarter of FY27, with its consolidated net profit surging by 46.7% to ₹178.5 crore compared to the previous year. Revenue from operations experienced a substantial increase of 52.4%, reaching ₹1,301 crore.
The company achieved its highest-ever quarterly revenue, driven by a record 107% year-on-year growth in BEV revenue. BEV products now constitute 44% of the company's automotive revenue.
In a strategic move, Sona BLW announced its expansion into the Robotics & Physical AI sector, aiming to develop critical components and subsystems. This initiative is part of the new Sona Comstar 2.0 strategy, which targets a tenfold increase in revenue over the next decade.
Further bolstering its portfolio, the company secured new orders across EV, hybrid, and ICE platforms. These include supplying differential assemblies for a hybrid passenger vehicle platform, traction motors for electric two-wheelers, and differential gears for ICE passenger vehicles.
