Solis Minerals Drills for Lithium in Brazil

Solis Minerals initiated diamond drilling at its wholly owned Mandacaru Lithium Project in Brazil earlier this week. This campaign is a significant step, marking the start of a 10-hole, 2,000-meter program designed to explore a substantial lithium-caesium-tantalum pegmatite system. The drilling aims to test an approximately 800-meter pegmatite corridor identified at surface.

The Mandacaru project is situated in the Araçuaí Lithium Valley in Minas Gerais, a region recognized for its existing lithium operations and advanced development projects. Solis Minerals views Mandacaru as its top lithium prospect. The company anticipates releasing drilling observations and assay results over the next two to three months, serving as a key near-term catalyst.

Beyond Brazil, Solis Minerals is also preparing to resume copper exploration activities in Peru. The company has secured all necessary government drilling approvals for its Cinto Copper Project and is planning an initial program of up to 2,500 meters. This dual focus on lithium in Brazil and copper in Peru is expected to generate significant news flow in the latter half of the year.
