Smruthi Organics Profit Plummets 52% in Q4 FY26

Smruthi Organics reported a substantial net profit decline of 52.02% for the quarter ended March 2026. The company's net profit dropped to Rs 1.07 crore, a stark contrast to the Rs 2.23 crore recorded in the previous year's March quarter.

This downturn in profitability was accompanied by a significant decrease in sales. In the March 2026 quarter, sales fell by 23.63% to Rs 29.09 crore, compared to Rs 38.09 crore in the corresponding period of the prior year.

Looking at the full fiscal year ending March 2026, Smruthi Organics' performance showed a continued downward trend. Net profit for the year declined by 3.65% to Rs 3.43 crore, down from Rs 3.56 crore in the previous fiscal year. Annual sales also contracted by 19.08%, totaling Rs 101.97 crore for the year ended March 2026.
