Skoda Slavia Facelift: Massage Seats Arrive!

Skoda will introduce the facelifted Slavia in India on October 6, featuring design tweaks, interior enhancements, and updated features. Production has already begun at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India's plant in Chakan, Pune, with bookings now open. Deliveries are anticipated to start around the festive season.

The exterior of the Slavia receives a refreshed look with new LED headlamps, updated tail lamps, revised grille, and new alloy wheel designs. Two new color options, Arctic Silver and Cappuccino Beige, will be available. The sporty Monte Carlo variant will be offered from launch.

Inside, the cabin sees notable additions, including a segment-first massage function for the outer rear seats. A 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, a larger 10.25-inch digital driver's display, and a 10.1-inch infotainment screen with a Google Cloud-based AI assistant are also included. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are supported.

The Slavia retains its 1.0-liter and 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engines. The 1.0 TSI engine, producing 115hp and 178Nm, can now be paired with a new eight-speed automatic gearbox, replacing the previous six-speed unit. The 1.5 TSI engine continues with 150hp and 250Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic.

Pricing for the updated Slavia will be announced on October 6. The current model starts at Rs 10 lakh (ex-showroom), and a price increase is expected for the facelifted version. The updated Slavia aims to enhance its competitive edge against models like the Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and Volkswagen Virtus.
