ServiceTitan's AI Platform Max Surges Ahead
9 Sep
Summary
- ServiceTitan reported 21% revenue growth in Q2 2027.
- Max locations more than doubled, exceeding targets.
- New smaller Max packages will be introduced for customers.
ServiceTitan reported a 21% increase in revenue for its fiscal second quarter of 2027, reaching $292.8 million. Subscription revenue grew 22% to $212.4 million, and usage revenue climbed 24% to $72.1 million, contributing to a total platform revenue increase of 22% to $284.5 million. The company is intensifying its investment in its AI-powered Max platform, which offers over 30 automated capabilities for trade businesses.
Adoption of the Max platform has surpassed expectations, with ServiceTitan more than doubling its Max locations in the fiscal second quarter. The company now anticipates over 700 Max locations by the end of fiscal 2027, a substantial increase from the just over 100 locations at the end of the previous quarter. ServiceTitan is now offering Max to new customers, with some showing a willingness to adopt it from the outset.
To accommodate a broader customer base, ServiceTitan plans to introduce smaller Max packages. These offerings will allow customers to adopt specific AI capabilities, such as those focused on demand generation or field operations, before committing to the full platform. An example of Max's impact is Delponte Plumbing & Heating, which saw revenue increase by over 35% and 45% in consecutive quarters, alongside launching a new service business with significant customer acquisition.
