10 Apr
Summary
- ServiceNow now offers AI-enabled products at no extra cost.
- New Context Engine grounds AI agent decisions in real-time data.
- Analysts offer mixed views, with some maintaining targets.

ServiceNow is transforming its product suite by making every offering AI-enabled, a move away from the "sidecar AI era." This integration bundles AI, data connectivity, workflow execution, security, and governance into all products without extra charges.
The company launched Context Engine, a significant innovation designed to ground AI agent decisions using real-time enterprise context. Additionally, Build Agent skills, a new SDK, allows developers to build and deploy directly to the ServiceNow AI Platform using external tools.
The Enterprise Service Management Foundation and a new packaging model are available now, with Build Agent skills expected on April 15, and Context Engine currently in preview. This strategic integration aims to enhance overall product utility and developer accessibility.
Analyst reactions are varied. While Citizens analyst Patrick Walravens reiterated a Market Outperform rating and a $260.00 price target, other firms have adjusted their outlooks. UBS downgraded the stock to Neutral with a reduced price target, citing concerns about the company's AI sector positioning.
BTIG maintained a Buy rating but lowered its price target, expressing worries about slower revenue growth projections. Stifel and FBN Securities also adjusted their price targets, reflecting a range of perspectives on ServiceNow's future performance amid these strategic shifts.
