SEPC Ltd announced on Tuesday, December 9, that its joint venture with Furlong secured a letter of award valued at ₹86 crore for a significant aviation infrastructure project at Bihta Airport in Patna. This contract, awarded by JSC IA Vozrozhdenie India Private Ltd, marks a key development for the company.
The project encompasses the engineering, procurement, and construction of a new integrated terminal building, a utility building, and associated structures. It also includes the execution of an elevated road, along with vital electro-mechanical works and the integration of advanced airport, IT, and security systems.
Further solidifying its position in the aviation sector, SEPC highlighted that the contract includes comprehensive maintenance and operational support. Managing Director Venkataramani Jaiganesh expressed enthusiasm, stating the award aligns with SEPC's growth strategy to expand into complex EPC domains.
