Sanstar's Q2 2025 Net Profit Plunges 92% Despite Sales Rise
15 Nov
Summary
- Sanstar's net profit declined 91.61% to Rs 0.63 crore in Q2 2025
- Sales rose 0.56% to Rs 196.43 crore in Q2 2025
- Operating profit margin dropped from 5.85% to 0.69% in Q2 2025
In the quarter ended September 2025, Sanstar's financial performance took a significant hit. The company's net profit declined by a staggering 91.61%, dropping from Rs 7.51 crore in the previous quarter (Q2 2024) to just Rs 0.63 crore in the current quarter (Q2 2025).
Despite the drop in profits, Sanstar's sales managed a modest 0.56% increase, rising from Rs 195.33 crore in Q2 2024 to Rs 196.43 crore in Q2 2025. However, this sales growth was not enough to offset the sharp decline in the company's operating profit margin, which plummeted from 5.85% in the previous quarter to just 0.69% in the current quarter.
The combination of declining profits and a weakening profit margin suggests that Sanstar is facing significant challenges in its operations, potentially due to rising costs or increased competition in the market.
