Sanofi announced on October 1, 2026, a substantial financial agreement with its U.S. partner, Regeneron. The French drugmaker has committed an initial $1 billion upfront payment. This deal opens the door for up to an additional $7 billion in milestone payments.
The expanded partnership centers on developing four next-generation, long-acting immunology antibodies. These new treatments will join the existing collaboration that has already produced the highly successful eczema drug, Dupixent.
Both companies have also reached a settlement regarding earlier litigation concerning their collaboration. Under the terms of the new agreement, Sanofi and Regeneron will share the costs and profits of this expanded partnership equally.
