Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) has reported a 3.65% increase in its consolidated net profit for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2026, reaching Rs 322.83 crore. This marks a slight improvement from Rs 311.44 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. The company's revenue from operations grew by 2.56% year-on-year to Rs 4,684.46 crore for the quarter ending December 31, 2025.
Total expenses for RVNL in Q3 FY26 rose by 2.17% year-on-year to Rs 4,577.43 crore. Profit before tax (PBT) for the quarter stood at Rs 415.12 crore, a marginal increase from Rs 412.90 crore in Q3 FY25. Over the nine-month period of FY26, net profit declined by 16.37% year-on-year, though revenue saw a 1.63% increase.
In a significant announcement for shareholders, RVNL's board has approved an interim dividend of Rs 1 per share for the financial year 2025-26. This dividend is set to be paid on or before March 6, 2026, with the record date for eligibility established as February 11, 2026.
