RoboTechnik Intelligent Technology, a Chinese maker of automation equipment, is preparing for its Hong Kong listing on September 21, with plans to raise around $800 million. The company, which is already listed in Shenzhen, specializes in equipment for photovoltaic cell manufacturing and assembly and testing systems for silicon photonics devices.
The Suzhou-based firm intends to price its offering on September 24 and debut on September 29, though market conditions may influence these dates. The proceeds are earmarked for research and development, expanding factory capacity, bolstering global sales and service operations, potential acquisitions, and working capital.
RoboTechnik's financial performance shows a strong recovery. In the first half of 2026, the company reported a net profit of 6.6 million yuan, a significant improvement from a net loss of 33.3 million yuan in the same period a year earlier. Revenue more than doubled, increasing by 144.8% to 608.5 million yuan.
This secondary listing aims to fuel RoboTechnik's international expansion and strengthen its market position in key technology sectors. Its shares in Shenzhen have seen a substantial surge of 166% year-to-date, reflecting strong investor confidence.
