12 Nov
Summary
- Ricola launches limited-edition scarves infused with natural essential oils
- Scarves designed to hold cough drops for on-the-go relief
- Progresso releases chicken noodle soup-flavored hard candy 'Soup Drops'
As the 2025 cold and flu season approaches, two major brands are offering unique products to help consumers cope with seasonal illnesses. Ricola, the Swiss company known for its cough drops, tea, and breath mints, has unveiled a new line of limited-edition scarves infused with the brand's "signature Swiss alpine herbs."
The scarves, designed in Europe from premium textiles, are lightly scented with natural essential oils and feature a small hidden pocket for stashing cough drops on the go. The scarves are available in two aromatic editions: Lemon Balm + Mint and Peppermint, and will be sold on RicolaCollection.com starting November 12th for $40 each.
In a separate move, Progresso has launched "Soup Drops," a chicken noodle soup-flavored hard candy that the company describes as "soup you can suck on." The savory drops, packaged in a can resembling a regular Progresso soup can, are designed to provide a taste of chicken noodle soup during the cold and flu season. The candies were released for a limited time in January to coincide with National Soup Month.
