Revolut Reverses Remote-First Policy for New Grads
2 Jul
Summary
- Revolut now requires new graduates to work in-office three days weekly.
- This policy change starts in 2027 for Talent Programme participants.
- The company cites critical need for in-person collaboration and mentoring.

Starting in 2027, Revolut will alter its long-standing remote-first policy for select new employees. Fresh graduates and interns joining the company's Talent Programmes will be mandated to spend a majority of their workweek in an office setting, requiring at least three days of in-person attendance weekly.
This decision comes as Revolut, like many other companies, emphasizes the importance of face-to-face interaction for young professionals. A company spokesperson noted that while the global model remains remote-first, early career stages significantly benefit from the collaboration and mentoring that in-office presence provides.
Approximately 300 graduates and interns hired this year will be among the last to fully benefit from the previous flexible remote work options. Upon successful completion of the 12-month graduate program, these employees will transition to Revolut's standard remote-first contracts. For all other current employees, the remote-first policy remains unchanged.
