Customer deliveries for the all-new Renault Duster have officially commenced across India, signaling the revival of a legendary mid-size SUV. The popular nameplate, originally launched in 2012 and discontinued in 2022, has been reimagined with a bold, rugged design and advanced features.
The new-generation Duster presents a modern aesthetic with squared-off proportions and robust off-road capabilities, including 212mm of ground clearance. Inside, a revamped, driver-focused cockpit enhances the premium feel, complemented by a practical 518-litre cargo space and sophisticated technology like a 10.1-inch touchscreen and digital instrument cluster.
Renault is offering the Duster with petrol-only powertrains, including 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engines, with manual and automatic transmissions. A highly anticipated Strong Hybrid E-Tech powertrain is slated for release around the festive season, promising significant efficiency improvements.
Built on the Renault Group Modular Platform (RGMP), the SUV is priced between Rs 10.49 lakh and Rs 18.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes in a crowded segment. Renault aims to leverage the Duster's legacy and modern upgrades for a strong market comeback.
