Regenerative Leather Revives UK Craftsmanship and Soil Health
23 Oct
Summary
- British Pasture Leather sources leather from regenerative farms
- Supports local craftspeople and builds community of farmers and designers
- Offers an alternative to conventional leather's harmful practices

In October 2025, British Pasture Leather, a pioneering enterprise founded four years ago, has partnered with a select group of British makers and studios to launch the MADE WITH collection. This limited-edition range showcases leather produced from the hides of pasture-fed cattle raised on regenerative farms across the UK.
Co-founders Alice Robinson and Sara Grady have built a fully local supply chain that offers a compelling alternative to the conventional leather industry's reliance on factory farming, toxic chemicals, and untraceable origins. By sourcing from farms following regenerative principles, they produce a vegetable-tanned leather that helps restore soil health, supports local craftspeople, and builds communities of farmers and designers creating sustainable products.
The MADE WITH collection features a diverse array of accessories, interiors, and craft items, each made entirely with British Pasture Leather. The project brings together a network of innovative makers, including Beorma and Francli Craftwear, who share the founders' vision of reviving UK craftsmanship and promoting ecological integrity in the leather industry.
