Chennai-based Redington has reported a net profit of ₹422 crore for the second quarter ending September 2026. This marks a 20% increase from the ₹350 crore profit recorded in the same quarter last year. The company's revenue from operations saw a substantial 48% year-on-year rise, reaching ₹42,947 crore.
This growth was primarily attributed to increased enterprise tech and data centre spending. Redington's India revenue alone grew by 67% year-on-year, bolstered by data centre investments, demand for PCs and mobility devices, and ongoing adoption of cloud and cybersecurity solutions.
The Middle East and Africa region also contributed significantly, with revenue increasing by 41% year-on-year, supported by demand for enterprise infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity solutions. Redington's business segments showed robust performance, with SSG up 39%, ESG up 38%, MSG up 40%, and TSG surging by 91% year-on-year.
VS Hariharan, Managing Director and Group CEO, stated that the Q2 performance reflects strong demand and disciplined execution. He highlighted Redington's role as a technology ecosystem orchestrator, connecting capabilities for customers adopting, securing, and managing their technology. Redington's share price on the BSE closed at ₹366.60, up 9.32%.
