RailTel Secures Major ₹26.7 Crore Railway Project

RailTel Corporation of India announced on March 7, 2026, that it secured a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from South East Central Railway for a project valued at ₹26.72 crore.
The contract, received on March 6, 2026, encompasses the comprehensive installation of optical fiber cable (OFC), including supply, transportation, trenching, laying, and final termination. This extensive work is slated for completion by March 5, 2027.
This domestic order adds to RailTel's recent successes, including a ₹35.6 crore railway signalling project for MSDAC and associated works in the Prayagraj division. That contract is expected to be completed within 24 months, by February 17, 2028.
