QXO Stock: Cramer Predicts Major Surge
30 Aug
Summary
- Jim Cramer believes QXO stock could jump from $14 to $24.
- QXO's Q2 net sales increased to $3.246 billion.
- The company faces integration challenges with major acquisitions.

Jim Cramer has expressed strong conviction in QXO, Inc. (NYSE:QXO), forecasting a potential stock price surge from $14 to $24. This optimism stems from his belief that the company's focus on building products, particularly roofing, will benefit significantly when interest rates decline due to a housing market slowdown. Cramer's view is not new, as he previously lauded CEO Brad Jacobs.
QXO's recent financial performance indicates rapid expansion, with second-quarter net sales climbing to $3.246 billion, up from $1.906 billion year-over-year. Adjusted EBITDA also rose to $272 million. However, the company reported a net loss of $55 million for the quarter. The acquisition of TopBuild for approximately $17 billion, completed on July 1, was not included in these results.
Management anticipates the combined entity will more than double its EBITDA by 2030 and achieve $50 billion in revenue within a decade. Key challenges include integrating major acquisitions like TopBuild, Beacon ($11 billion), and Kodiak ($2.25 billion), alongside managing significant debt incurred for TopBuild. QXO must prove its enlarged platform can generate positive free cash flow to sustain its ambitious growth strategy, especially with ongoing housing market pressures.
Despite these hurdles, institutional interest in QXO has grown, with 83 hedge funds holding the stock in the second quarter, an increase from 65 in the prior quarter. The short interest in the stock stands at approximately 8.57% of its public float.
